WHY NOW

A curriculum change schools have to answer

The frameworks exist. The teaching capacity, in most schools, does not.

National

Atal Tinkering Labs reached 10,000 schools and over 1.1 crore students by October 2025. A further 50,000 labs are funded for government schools over five years.

CBSE

Computational Thinking and AI introduced for Classes 3 to 8 from 2026–27, with a suggested 50 to 100 hours a year. AI is already a skill subject at Classes 9 to 12.

CISCE — ICSE and ISC

Robotics and Artificial Intelligence as a formal examinable subject since 2023–24, with the syllabus framed alongside IIT Delhi.

State boards

Kerala was first to put AI in the curriculum and first to make robotics compulsory for every Class 10 student. Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Odisha, Karnataka, Haryana and Delhi are moving the same way.

International schools

IGCSE, IB and American-curriculum schools sit outside Indian board rules, but compete for the same families and the same expectations.

CBSE calls its hours suggested and flexible; CISCE has made the subject examinable; Kerala has made it compulsory. Those are different positions and we do not flatten them. Sources: CBSE Circular Acad-15/2026; CISCE subject code 66; PIB on the Atal Innovation Mission, October 2025; KITE Kerala.

Six revenue streams

The centre is the base. The school channel is where the curriculum shift pays.

  • Regular programmes — weekday and weekend batches
  • School partnerships — delivery and teacher training on annual contract
  • Holiday camps — April to June, and December
  • STEM lab setup — Atal Tinkering and board-aligned labs
  • Learnerbit — a K-12 AI suite licensed per school
  • Competitions — VEX, WRO, FLL and IRO
